1976
CLM is created by Gerry and partners - first machines come to life - 3000ft² - 6 machines
1978
CLM becomes C&M Machine Works Inc.- plant expands to 4000ft² - 9 machines
1984
Andy starts working while going to high school - 14 machines
1989
Plant expands to 6500ft² - 17 machines
1990
Design / Blueprint services begin
1991
Andy completes college and starts working full time
1994
First 2-D CAD software package purchased
1997
First CNC vertical machining centre purchased, MasterCAM v6.0 first production machining work awarded
1998
Second and larger CNC vertical machining centre purchased - plant expands to 10,000ft²
1999
Solidworks solids modeling software purchased, MasterCAM upgraded to include CNC turning
2000
Third CNC (first CNC Lathe) purchased - C&M - 22 machines
2002
Attica created to specialize in OEM parts, C&M continues to specialize in replacement parts & machinery
Fourth CNC (second CNC lathe) purchased  
2003
Attica achieves ISO 9001:2000 designation
2004
Plant expands to 13,000ft²
2005
Total machines now over 40; Total employees at 45, fulltime staff in Sales/Quoting, Engineering, Production, Quality
Two more CNC VMCs, plant expands to 20,000ft²
2006
Larger CNC VMC purchased (doubling our machining envelope), another CNC lathe purchased
C&M expands CNC capability by expanding into Hybrid CNC/Conventional Machinery - CNC Lathe purchased, CNC Bed Mill purchased; machines now over 40
JobBoss Manufacturing software implemented to control product quotes, routing, machine scheduling, cost analysis
2007
Featured in CIM (Canadian Industrial Machinery) magazine title "Master's of Diversity" Software upgrade now at Mastercam vX
First Multi-tasking 5 -Axis CNC lathe
2008
First Multi-tasking Twin-spindle Twin-Turret Mill-Turn centre, plant expands to 25,000ft²
Attica selected to participate in Mayor's Lean Initiative Group, Formal Lean training begins; Attica Nominated for the ASQ Quality Award
5S events blitzed throughout plant; plant floor re-aligns to improve product flow;
Attica receives award from the Apprenticeship Network
2009
January 2009 - Attica selected as London's Featured Company; March 2009 Attica selected as a Finalist for the ASQ Quality Award; March 2009 Attica awarded Co-Op award by Fanshawe College
Attica implements constraint management system to give precise measurement of product flow and machine control; Upgrades to software Solidworks 2009, Mastercam vX³, JobBoss v10
First CMM DCC (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine) Purchased, First Automotive job awarded for the FORD GT40
Second CMM DCC CCO now can measure 1500×3300×1350mm (59"×129.9"×53") envelope
